Dr. VonAlmen
Dr. Theresa VonAlmen

Veterinarian

Dr. Theresa VonAlmen, a proud Northwest Ohio native, has been serving the local community as a veterinarian for nearly a decade. A graduate of the University of Findlay and The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. VonAlmen is now realizing her lifelong dream of opening her animal hospital in Waterville.

As she works tirelessly behind the scenes to bring this vision to life, Dr. VonAlmen is eager to share her journey with you and looks forward to providing the highest quality veterinary care for your furry family members.

When she’s not caring for animals, you can find her enjoying the serene beauty of the Maumee River, where she feels most at home. At home, she’s accompanied by her two Labrador Retrievers—a yellow lab named Dixie, an old soul, and a chocolate lab named Duchess, the mischievous, laughter-inducing member of the family.

Get ready, Waterville—Dr. VonAlmen can’t wait to welcome you and your pets to her new clinic!

Dr. Stark earned her bachelors degree in zoology from the University of Wisconsin- it was there that she discovered her true calling to be a veterinarian. She went on to graduate with honors from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and completed an internship in food animal medicine and surgery before returning home to focus on caring for dogs and cats.

When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Stark enjoys spending time with her husband, three daughters, and fur family members- a young Portuguese Water Dog and two cats. She also loves to garden, swim, and spend time on the boat.

Olivia
Koti S.
Clinical Administrator

I’ve spent the past 11 years working in the veterinary field, including 6 years as a veterinary technician. Caring for animals has always been a meaningful part of my life, and I’m passionate about providing them with the love, compassion, and care they deserve.

I’ve lived in Northwest Ohio for most of my life and am proud to call the area home. Outside of work, I’m a devoted Shih Tzu enthusiast and have three of my own! 🐶🐶🐶 I’m also a proud cat mom to one very special feline. My love for animals doesn’t stop when I leave work—they truly are a big part of who I am.

I’m grateful to be part of such a compassionate and caring team. I appreciate our positive approach to fear-free care and enjoy working in an environment supported by a friendly, dedicated team. Their support makes this a wonderful place to be.
